Individual partners terminology projects

Elvira Di Bella is a HR professional, a qualified translator and an equality enthusiast currently based in Rome. She graduated with honors in Interpreting and Translation and completed a postgraduate program in Human Resources Management. Across her studies, she interned at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers in Italy and carried out several terminology researches at the Department for European Policies. While working as a translator both in Rome and in Barcelona, she developed a strong commitment to equality and social justice. Achieving diversity and inclusion in the workplace is now her career aspiration.

Gabriella Tindiglia is a freelance translator and has been working in this field since 2006.
She is specialised in legal and business translations and her working languages are English, French, and Spanish.

After she graduated in Political Science – specialisation in International Relations -, with a final dissertation about the European Court of Human Rights which required the translation of some judgments of the Court from either English or French into Italian, she decided to attend a Master’s course in Legal Translation at the University of Genoa.

She has always loved working with words trying to find the right ones for every specific context. It has been her passion since the school period (Languages High School).

Hailing from the beautiful island of Malta, Hermanda Gauci holds a bachelor’s degree in English & Philosophy and an MA Qualifier in Philosophy awarded by the University of Malta. She will graduate with a Postgraduate Diploma in Translation & Terminology in November 2020. Her language combination is English to Maltese and Maltese to English. She has a passion for literature, and she takes pride in having the opportunity to collaborate with some of the most prestigious authors from the local arena.  Literary indulgences aside, she is also very keen on Terminology and would love to one day delve deeper into this domain.

Farah Al Khatib has become passionate about terminology from the very early stages of her career. She studied translation and interpreting in Saint Joseph University of Beirut – Lebanon and the University of Leeds – UK. Arabic is her mother tongue and English and French are her other working languages. She completed a terminology fellowship in the World Intellectual Property Organization in Geneva and worked for more than three years as a Terminology Assistant in the Special Tribunal for Lebanon in The Hague. She is an advanced terminology manager certified by the European Certification and Qualification Association (ECQA).
