Individual Partners Terminology Projects
Despina Sourli, born in Germany of Greek origin, has always been interested in other languages and cultures. For this reason, she pursued her studies in Translation and after that in Conference Interpreting in Germersheim (University of Mainz). During her studies, she was lucky to spent two Erasmus semesters abroad – in Glasgow and Corfu -, and also to be a translation trainee at the European Parliament. While working already full-time in her profession, she pursued an additional degree in International Relations and European Studies. She speaks German, Greek, English, French and Spanish. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors and especially triathlon.

Quentin Bugeja obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Italian and Theatre Studies from the University of Malta. During this course he took part in the Erasmus Program, whereby he spent a semester studying the above subjects at La Sapienza University in Rome. After successfully completing the course, he applied for a Masters Degree in Translation and Terminology Studies at the University of Malta. After graduating from this course in 2021, he was selected for a traineeship with the Maltese Unit in the General Secretariat of the Council. After making the most of this opportunity, he is currently working as an Administrator at the University of Malta with plans to embark on a Doctoral Degree in Terminology Studies with the aforementioned University.
