Simona Siciliano
Simona Siciliano is a freelance Translator and a Localiser from Naples, Italy. She obtained a Bachelor’s in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation and a Master’s in Literary Translation at the University of Naples “L’Orientale”. Her working languages are Italian, German, English and French. Being passionate about foreign languages and cultures, she is also a travel lover.

Alessandra Mazzocchi

Before moving to the United States in 2017, Alessandra Mazzocchi graduated in Linguistic Mediation and Communication at her hometown university, Università di Torino, focusing on English and German and defending the final thesis on the linguistic discrepancies in movie translations from Italian to German. She is a two times FSU graduate, holding a master’s degree in Italian Studies and in Digital Humanities. During her time in the Digital Humanities program she developed her final project on Augmented Reality and the possible applications in education and higher education. The combined passion for the digital world and linguistics brought her to work for Apple as a contractor through a third-party company, while keeping her full-time job at Florida State University College of Law.

Julia Nikitina is a freelance Russian interpreter with an interest in terminology. In 2019 she graduated from the Caspian Higher School of Interpreting and Translation (Astrakhan, Russia) where she studied conference interpreting. As her master’s thesis, she did a terminology project for the World Intellectual Property Organization and its termbase WIPO Pearl. She was first introduced to terminology during the first year of her master’s program and then she also took a terminology course at the University of Bologna when she went there on an exchange program.

Alessandra Mazzocchi

Concenzio Maletta is an Italian language specialist, currently a Schuman Trainee at the Italian Translation Unit of the European Parliament. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Intercultural and Linguistic Mediation and a Master’s degree in Specialised Translation, and his working languages are Italian, English and German. He studied terminology at university and took part in a project for his Master’s thesis involving terminological work for the translation of technical documentation. He also participated in the IATE project organised by the TermCoord Unit for Schuman trainees, specifically in the audio-visual field.
