Manana Ruseishvili is a Professor and Head of the Department of English Philology at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU). She is also President of ETAG (English Language Teachers’ Association of Georgia). Manana has published more than 110 works locally and internationally and delivered papers at international conferences worldwide. Manana Rusieshvili manages and coordinates BA and MA programmes in English Philology. She coordinates the module of the lexicography at the MA programme of English Philology and the PhD module in English Philology and Lexicography. Manana Rusieshvili was a supervisor and coordinator of the project “The database of Georgian idioms and proverbs (with their English, Russian, German, French, Turkish and Arabic equivalents)”, supported by the Rustaveli foundation. This database presents idioms and proverbs coming from several different cultures and languages: Western-European (English, German and French), Eastern (Turkish and Arabic) and Russian, and compares and contrasts them to Georgian idioms and proverbs. The database includes full and partial idiomatic and proverb equivalents on interlanguage and cross-language planes. |

Lia Karosanidze is head of the Department of Translation Dictionaries and Scientific Terminology at TSU Arnold Chikobava Institute of Linguistics since 2006. She is the organizer of local and international conferences on terminology in Georgia since 2013. From 2016 Department of Translate Dictionaries and Scientific Terminology works on Georgian Term Bank She is also the founder and editor of the journal Terminological Issues, and the head of the Vukol Beridze Association for Terminology of Georgia. A member of the Scientific Board of Arnold Chikobava Institute of Linguistics at Tbilisi State University. She is also the author of the lecture course History of Georgian Terminology. |

Mariam Keburia (MA in American Studies, MA in Leadership for Sustainability, PhD in English Philology) has been engaged in academic work since 2009. As the lecturer at Tbilisi State University, Mariam leads seminars and delivers lectures in Lexicography (presenting introductory lectures as well as teaching principles of lexicographic work to BA and MA students), together with the team of students, she participates in lexicography sand discussion rounds to ensure students’ increased interests towards lexicographic work, interdisciplinary approaches and application of modern technologies. In addition to her teaching experience, Mariam has been engaged in various research projects (mainly related to analyzing English and Georgian texts and discourse analysis). Her PhD thesis ‘Linguo-pragmatic Aspects of Persuasion and Practical Argumentation in Political Discourse (Using the examples of Georgian and American public speeches)’’ applies Critical Discourse Analysis to study argumentation schemes of the selected sample. Mariam has a theoretical knowledge and a practical experience of research management and administration. In 2017, she completed the University Administration Support Program (UASP) administered and delivered by IREX and George Mason University. Mariam is a National Contact Point of the Horizon Europe Programme – European Research Council (ERC) and for around 5 years headed the Office of International Relations at National Science Foundation of Georgia. Is actively engaged in disseminating information on European Research funding opportunities among Georgia’s scientific community. |

Linda Giorgadze is a research associate at TSU Arnold Chikobava Institute of linguistics, in the department of Translation Dictionaries and Scientific Terminology. She works on the Georgian Termbank project. Linda is a member of the Vukol Beridze Association of Terminology of Georgia. Also, she is a member of the organizing committee of International and local conferences held by the mentioned Department. Linda is a doctoral student at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University in the programme of Kartvelian Linguistics. Her PhD Thesis is about the History of Georgian Ecclesiastic Terminology. |

Francesco Saina is an Italian linguist working with English, French, and Spanish. He is a specialized translator in the fields of medicine and audiovisuals, and an interpreter for institutions and businesses.
He is also a university lecturer in translation, interpreting, and language technology at SSML Carlo Bo and SSML San Domenico in Rome, Italy. His research activity focuses on computer-assisted translation and interpreting, applied linguistics, innovation, and training—at the intersection of theoretical investigation, professional practice, and instructional implementations.

Rui Sousa-Silva is assistant professor of the Faculty of Arts and researcher at the Linguistics Centre (CLUP) of the University of Porto. He obtained a degree in Translation and a Masters in Terminology and Translation, both awarded by the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto, and a PhD in Applied Linguistics from Aston University (Birmingham, UK), where he submitted his thesis on Forensic Linguistics: ‘Detecting Plagiarism in the Forensic Linguistics Turn’. He studied cross-cultural attitudes to plagiarism, and proposed an approach to translingual plagiarism detection. He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Masters in Translation and Language Services of the University of Porto (Member of the EMT – European Masters in Translation network and co-editor with Professor Malcolm Coulthard of the international bilingual journal Language and Law / Linguagem e Direito). |

Łucja Biel is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Applied Linguistics, University of Warsaw, Poland. She was a Visiting Lecturer on the MA in Legal Translation at City University London from 2009 to 2014, and an Editor-in-chief of the Journal of Specialized Translation and a board member of the European Society for Translation Studies. She has been an English-Polish legal and business translator since 1997. She holds an MA in English/TS (Jagiellonian University of Kraków), PhD in Linguistics (University of Gdańsk), Diploma in English and EU Law (University of Cambridge) and School of American Law diploma (Chicago-Kent School of Law and UG). She published in The Translator, Perspectives, Meta, Jostrans, Fachsprache, Terminology and a research monograph Lost in the Eurofog. The Textual Fit of Translated Law (Peter Lang, 2014). |

Balbuena Torezano, M. del Carmen is an associate Professor in Translation Studies. She leads the research group Hum-947 “Text, Science and Translation” and has been the principal investigator and Director of the research projects Minne-Lexikon: A Dictionary of Terms and Themes of Religious and Secular Lyrical Poetry in Middle Ages and WeinApp: A Multilingual System for Information and Resources about Wine. She is also the Founding Editor of the academic journals Skopos and Estudios Franco-Alemanes, as well as the Head of the international Conference Congreso Internacional “Ciencia y Traducción”. She is the Editor-in-chief of the series Translation, Text and Interferences, and Lengua, Literatura y Traducción – LeLiTrad. She supervised more than fifty final essays at BA and Master level and several doctoral thesis about legal and institutional translation, translation of literature, scientific and technical translation and social mediation. Her working languages are German and English. She has been author of many contributions in specialized journals, books and book chapters included in Scholar Publishing Index (SPI). Her research focuses on: • Specialized translation and terminology (medicine and health, agriculture and food, and public safety) • Translation of Literature and Human Sciences (literature, music, journalism, and arts) • Hybrid texts and their translation |

Federica Vezzani is assistant professor – RTDa (non-tenured) – at the Department of Linguistics and Literary Studies of the University of Padua. Her main research interests are: Terminology, Terminography and Specialized Translation. In particular, she focuses on the management of multilingual terminology according to ISO standard for terminology, and she has developed the FAIR terminology paradigm for the optimal organization of findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable terminological data. |

Raffaella Antinucci is Associate Professor of English Literature at the University of Naples “Parthenope”. Her main areas of research include Victorian culture and fiction, comparative literatures, and corpus stylistics. She is the author of a monograph on the literary representations of the Victorian gentleman (2009) and of a study on Jane Austen’s Emma (2018). She has co-edited a volume on maritime terminology and sea literature (Navigating Maritime Languages and Narratives, Peter Lang, 2017) and a collection of essays on the terminology of traditional Neapolitan arts and crafts (Cambridge Scholars, 2019). She is a member of CUSVE (Centre for Victorian and Edwardian Studies) and of the editorial board of the academic journal «Traduttologia». |

La sua attività di ricerca è orientata verso lo studio della Lingua spagnola (nel suo doppio ambito di studio: diacronico e sincronico) come prima e seconda lingua, della Linguistica contrastiva italiano-spagnolo-italiano e della Traduzione italiano-spagnolo-italiano. È autore di più di 50 lavori che comprendono articoli, libri ecc. che approfondiscono diversi aspetti delle linee di ricerca sopraccitate. Ha partecipato come relatore a più di 60 conferenze in Italia, Spagna, Argentina, Serbia, Germania, Francia, Romania, Polonia, Croazia, Perù, Paraguay e Messico. Membro o ricercatore principale di 17 progetti di ricerca finanziati, appartiene a 5 comitati editoriali e scientifici di riviste scientifiche e ha fatto parte di 25 comitati organizzatori e scientifici di convegni internazionali. Presso l’Università degli Studi di Trieste è stato Coordinatore del Corso di Laurea Triennale in Comunicazione Interlinguistica Applicata, Delegato del Rettore Mobilità Internazionale e Collaboratore del Rettore Relazioni Internazionali. Professor Olga Egorova is the Director of the Project Office on International Cooperation at the Moscow State Linguistic University and a full professor of the Department of Translation/Interpreting Studies and Practice of English Translation/Interpreting. She teaches the following courses: Conference interpreting, International Organizations, Consecutive Interpreting. She is a Council Member of the International Federation of Translators (FIT), External Partnerships Standing Committee Chair (FIT), Education and Professional Development Task Force Chair (FIT). Olga Egorova is also a Board member of the Union of Translators of Russia. Has been a keynote speaker and an invited presenter at numerous events and is continuously involved in the joint projects with the European institutions (the European Commission and the European Parliament), the UN, WIPO, ILO and other international organizations. |
