Individual Partners Terminology Projects

Verena-Kristin Bickel studied terminology management and technical translations in German, English and French at the University of Applied Sciences, in Cologne. During her studies she specialised in multilingual terminology management in the aeronautical sector. After graduating she moved to Italy where she started working as a project manager and translator. Always interested in technical documentation and terminology, she never stopped updating. She specialised in the field of terminology tools and machine translation processes. She further developed styles of writing to optimise technical documentation and translation processes. Interested in consulting and terminology management, she is still dedicated to research and development, and the linguistic sector.

Natasha Ananov is an experienced conference Interpreter and Sworn Translator with 13 years of experience working in the interpretation and translation industry. Skilled in Simultaneous, Consecutive, Whispered and Liaison interpretation. She has a wide experience in translation of different types of texts. She has a strong Linguistic Background (English and Arabic) and a very good knowledge of French, holder of two German language-related diplomas.
She is also a language professional with a Diplôme d’Interprète and a BA in Translation and Modern Languages from the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK), Beirut – Lebanon.

Marie-Joëlle Francis holds a Bachelor and a Master’s Degree in Translation from the Lebanese University. She also holds a Masters in Translation Studies from the École de Traducteurs et d’Interprètes de Beyrouth, where she is pursuing her Ph.D. studies on Translation Studies and Metaphor. Marie-Joëlle’s main interests are the theories of translation, translation history, epistemology, metaphor studies and terminology. She has collaborated in the past few years with the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and the Universidad de Deusto in Bilbao, Spain as part of her Ph.D. research. Besides her experience as a translator and interest in translation Studies, Marie-Joëlle has a strong academic experience in teaching translation courses, translation theories and languages.

Andrea Cobelli

Andrea Cobelli is a native Italian full-time freelance translator based in Manchester in the UK. I am a Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists CIOL (MCIL) and his language pairs are EN-ES-FR > IT.  After some life experiences in Spain and France, he moved to Manchester in the UK in 2014. In 2019 he obtained a MA in Translation and Interpreting at the University of Manchester, and he got a BA in Modern Languages at the Universtà degli Studi di Verona in Italy. His fields of expertise are marketing, technical, medical devices, and web. He is a fanatic of languages and different cultures, and everything around them.
